Dances->PowWow: Crow Explanation of How the Ladies Fancy Shawl Dance Competition Began Posted on Friday, September 21 @ 22:18:46 CDT (17088 reads)
|

At Crow Fair in Montana, I was told this story about how the Fancy Shawl Dance became a popular style of competition dancing.
Note: Crow Fair is the self-proclaimed Tipi Capitol of the World, with over 1,000 tipis in the encampment. If you can only attend one pow wow in your lifetime, this is the one I would recommend.
